I love to quilt and travel and since I retired a few years ago I wanted to do some writing about my quilting and travelling and share it with others.

I have the centre panel of "Bear River" quilt up on the design wall. I finished all 6 bearpaw blocks so I decided to put it together and see how it turned out. So now I have to add the borders and make it grow to double bed size.
Oh Peggy, what a great way to adapt this pattern for young man. It looks fabulous and the border really adds a lot of color. I am so glad you were able to find a way to use this pattern. Isn't it fun to take a pattern and adapt it to your own tastes and purposes. Thanks so much for posting a pic (and credit!) ;-)
