I have done it!!! I started a ninth BOM

I have contemplated starting this new BOM and finally decided to do it.  I chose to use 2 colours instead of scrappy and I may have to add a third colour depending on the blocks that come in the next months.  I used the alternate method of making half square triangles and found that the blocks went together so fast that I made 5 blocks in the past 2 days.

I took a 4 1/4 inch dark square and paired it with a light square and sewed all around the outside of the square.

4 1/4 inch square sewn around the edge.

Cut it on the diagonal, for 4 half square triangles.
I separated them to show the 4 pieces.

Ready to be trimmed to 2 1/2 inches

All trimmed and ready to be sewn.

Block #5
There are only 5 posted so I am all caught up and ready for Block #6.

Marmalade found his new home

I gave my daughter her new quilt today and was very pleased that she really, really liked it.  I finished this quilt in February but was waiting to give it to her.  We had a critter and creature night at the Guild and I wanted to show it then so I delayed giving it away.

This is Marmalade
