It's a Bird, It's a Plane, No It's a UFO

I have been very busy getting my UFO's finished and having a fun time doing it.  It is so nice to see these quilts finally made.  My brain is still full with more quilts that I want to make but I still have 2 more to go to complete the challenge.

Windy Days

I found this quilt on Moda Bake shop.  I used a lot of leftover triangles and half-square triangles that I had saved from other projects.  Some of the larger squares are leftovers from borders from previous quilts.

Anita's Grecian Wrench

I found this quilt in a Quiltmaker magazine November/December 2014.  It is made with a template that you copy and place on 2 eight inch squares right sides together and sew on the dashed lines, then cut on the solid lines.  It was really neat because there is no squaring up to do on the half-square triangles.  I just had to cut off the dog ears.  Everything was exactly 3 1/2 inches.

Interwoven

This is another Moda Bake shop.  I pop in every so often and find lots of quilts that I can use some of my scraps in.  I just added white to all those .

Flying South.

I don't remember where I found this pattern.  It is made with 4 1/2 inch squares made into half-square triangles.  Most of the fabrics in this quilt were pieces left over from backings or quilts that I have made.  I also see a black and yellow fabric that I used to make a purse.

I did a zig-zag quilt motif to bring out the geese pattern.

Two more to go to complete my 10 UFO's.

Peggy.
